Human Rights and Diversity Affairs Committee

The Human Rights and Diversity Affairs Committee is tasked with the following areas of specific responsibility and/or oversight:

A. Identifying international human and civil rights standards and violations that relate to the mission and goals of the organization.
B. Informing the Board of Directors of said standards and violations.
C. Recommending and assisting in the execution of policies, plans and programs to address violations of international human and civil rights standards.
D. Providing resource materials to the Member Services Committee for distribution and/or website posting relating to subsections A-C above.
E. Serving as a resource to AGM Host Committees in the development and execution of human and civil rights-related educational courses.
F. Serving as a resource to the Executive Committee, Board of Directors and Membership on international human and civil rights issues as they relate to the organization's mission and goals.

Ethnic Diversity Issues Subcommittee
The Ethnic Diversity Subcommittee of the Human Rights and Diversity Affairs Committee istasked with the following areas of specific responsibility and/or oversight:

A. Serving as an active forum and support network for interested individuals from Member Organizations who identify as a member of an ethnic group.
B. Identifying issues that relate to ethnic groups and to the mission and goals of the organization.
C. Informing the Board of Directors of said ethnic issues.
D. Recommending and assisting in the execution of policies, plans and programs to address the issues of ethnic groups.
E. Providing resource materials to the Member Services Committee for distribution and/or website posting relating to subsections B-D above.
F. Serving as a resource to AGM Host Committees in the development and execution of educational courses related to ethnic issues.
G. Serving as a resource to the Executive Committee, Board of Directors and Membership on ethnic issues as they relate to the organization's mission and goals

Gender Issues Subcommittee
The Gender Issues Subcommittee of the Human Rights and Diversity Affairs Committee is tasked with the following areas of specific responsibility and/or oversight:

A. Serving as an active forum and support network for interested individuals from Member Organizations regarding gender-related issues.
B. Identifying Issues related to gender that relate to the mission and goals of the organization.
C. Informing the Board of Directors of said gender issues.
D. Recommending and assisting in the execution of policies, plans and programs to address gender-related issues.
E. Providing resource materials to the Member Services Committee for distribution and/or website posting relating to subsections B and C above.
F. Serving as a resource to AGM Host Committees in the development and execution of educational courses related to gender issues.
G. Serving as a resource to the Executive Committee, Board of Directors and Membership on gender-related issues as they relate to the organization's mission and goals.

Intergenerational Issues Subcommittee
The Intergenerational Issues Subcommittee of the Human Rights and Diversity Affairs Committee is tasked with the following areas of specific responsibility and/or oversight:

A. Serving as an active forum and support network for interested individuals from member organizations to bridge generational and age-related issues.
B. Identifying issues that relate to or impact Prides or Pride organizers across generational or age-related lines and the mission and goals of the organization.
C. Informing the Board of Directors of said intergenerational issues.
D. Recommending and assisting in the execution of policies, plans and programs to address the intergenerational issues of Pride organizers and the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex community.
E. Providing resource materials to the Member Services Committee for distribution and/or website posting relating to subsections B-D above.
F. Serving as a resource to AGM Host Committees in the development and execution of educational courses related to intergenerational issues.
G. Serving as a resource to the Executive Committee, Board of Directors and Membership on intergenerational issues as they relate to the organization's mission and goals.

The Human Rights Action Subcommittee
This committee is tasked with the following areas of specific responsibility and/or oversight:

A. Identifying international human rights standards and violations that relate to the mission and goals of the organization.
B. Informing the Board of Directors of said standards and violations.
C. Reccommending and assisting in the execution of policies, plans and programs to address violations of international human rights standards.
D. Providing resource materials to the Member Services Committee for distribution and/or website posting relating to subsections A-C above.
E. Serving as a resource to AGM Host Committees ion the development and execution of human rights related educational courses.
F. Serving as a resource to the Executive Committee, Board of Directors and Membership on international human rights issues as they relate to the organization's mission and goals.

WorldPride Subcommittee

WorldPride is a Subcommittee of the Human Rights and Diversity Affairs Committee is tasked with the following areas of specific responsibility and/or oversight:

A. Developing, reviewing and recommending rules to the Board of Directors regarding bidding for the WorldPride event title.
B. Providing guidance to the Executive Committee during the negotiation of any WorldPride licensing agreement.
C. Providing oversight to any WorldPride licensee to ensure adherence to theirlicensing agreement.
D. Developing, recommending and assisting in the execution of plans and programs for marketing and promoting any WorldPride event.
